MONTREAL: Otakuthon
We are so excited to announce that you can find us in the dealers' area of the Exhibition Hall at this year's Otakuthon. It's our first time attending, and we can't wait!
Held at Montreal's Palais de Congrès, Otakuthon (August 3-5, 2012) is Quebec's largest anime convention promoting Japanese animation, graphic novels, and culture. Now in its seventh year, the event boasts a masquerade competition, gaming tournaments, musical performances, and so much more. A selection of this year's guests of honour include:
- Tomoe Ohmi, singer and voice actress
- Adella, co-founder of cosplay.com, the largest US-based online cosplay community
- L'orchestre de Jeux Vidéo (OJV)
- The 404s, Canadian geek improv troupe
We can't wait to explore the event, see all of the awesome cosplay, and meet cool people! AND, in addition to our normal styles, we'll have some special Japanese character kigurumi available exclusively at our booth:
